A grand opening celebration was held Wednesday at Bristol Farms’ first Santa Monica location at 3105 Wilshire Boulevard.
The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce joined City and business leaders for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The store includes deli and cheese departments, grab-and-go foods, full service specialty meat, seafood, and sushi departments, and locally grown produce. Its regular store hours are 6 am to 11 pm.
Kevin Davis, President and CEO of Bristol Farms, said its new Santa Monica location would be the perfect addition to the Bristol Farms family of stores.
“The extraordinary neighborhood and surrounding community will be an exceptional fit for a high quality fresh food store like Bristol Farms,” Davis said.
Davis said the new Santa Monica store features an all new décor package that celebrates and highlights the spirit and passion of the Santa Monica community in a fun and exciting manner.
“We want to be Santa Monica’s every day, locally grown, community driven, ultra-fresh food store,” he said.
The store occupies the location that was formerly Albertsons, which closed in February.
