A 35-year-old Santa Monica man was struck and killed in Studio City on Saturday night while he was crossing Ventura Boulevard.
Authorities said the man, whose has not yet been identified pending notification of next of kin, was struck by a white Mercedes Benz CLS driving eastbound.
The victim was walking northbound across Ventura just east of Fairway Avenue when he was struck at about 11:45 pm.
Police are still looking for the suspect who fled the scene, continuing eastbound on Ventura with major front-end damage to the vehicle.
