Upward Bound House Honors Agencies Who Held “White Christmas” Event:

Santa Monica-based direct response marketing agencies Media Design Group and Revenue Frontier were honored last Saturday, July 27, during an Upward Bound House fundraising event put on annually by the Young Professionals Board.

The two agencies were recognized for its 2012 “White Christmas” event which they planned and sponsored for the children and families of the Upward Bound House Family Shelter in Culver City.

The “White Christmas” event featured more than 15 tons of snow which blanketed the center’s parking lot, snow gloves for all of the children, a decorated Christmas tree, Santa Claus, a professional photographer for the children and their families, food, drinks, and desserts donated by several local Santa Monica restaurants, as well as a donation to the Upward Bound House itself.

This year’s Summer Bash event featured Revenue Frontier and Media Design Group as the 2013 Corporate Sponsor of the year.

“Being honored at the Summer Bash meant a lot to both RF and MDG and served as a strong reminder to all of us that our commitment to giving back in our community is really making a difference” said Ali Mills, who attended the event on behalf of the two companies to accept the award.

Mills, who coordinated the “White Christmas” event, also lead a team of volunteers to participate in Upward Bound House’s first annual 5k/10k run in Brentwood.
