Celebrity news site TMZ reports actor Josh Brolin got into a fight outside a bar on Santa Monica’s Main Street at 2 am Friday.
TMZ reports an intoxicated Brolin punched a bouncer a few times after he was escorted out of the bar at closing time, but the incident didn’t escalate beyond that, with Brolin hugging the bouncer after about 30 seconds of being aggressive.

This is the second public incident involving intoxication in Santa Monica for the actor this year.
Brolin was arrested in Santa Monica in January after being found heavily intoxicated and unable to care for himself, but was later released without any charges filed against him.
The “Gangster Squad” star was arrested in the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue near the Santa Monica Pier around 11:30 pm on Jan. 1.
Brolin was held in custody on a misdemeanor public intoxication charge and released.
“This was a booking only to hold him until he sobered up,” SMPD’s Richard Lewis said at the time. “We do not normally file any charges on persons for simple intoxication.”
