Santa Monica Library Presents Resources For Finding Great Reads Nov. 18:

Not sure what to read next? Looking for something great for your book group? Join the Santa Monica Main Library branch for an hour of hands-on practice with several online book recommender systems.

It will be held Monday, Nov. 18 from 4-5 pm in the Computer Training Room at the Santa Monica Public Library, 601 Santa Monica Boulevard.

A reference librarian from Santa Monica Public Library will guide the exploration of several resources created to help people find new reads based upon books they have enjoyed or lists of criteria. Both free websites and a library-specific database will be put to the test using titles suggested by the attendees.

This program is free and open to the public. The Computer Training Room has 12 computers. Seating is first-come first-served. For more information, call the Santa Monica Public Library Reference Department at 310.434.2608 or visit smpl.org.

The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible. For special disabled services, call Library Administration at 310.458.8606 at least one week prior to the event.
