The 42 diverse artists of Santa Monica-based TAG Gallery will display their latest work in a group exhibition that opens Jan. 7. The exhibit will run through Jan. 25, 2014.
Housed in TAG’s space at Bergamot Station, the exhibit will span all media and genres of painting, photography, and sculpture.
A special reception will be held on Jan. 25 from 5-8 pm.
As the foremost not-for-profit art gallery committed to local, contemporary work in Santa Monica and Los Angeles, TAG is breaking new ground by integrating the world of contemporary art into the local thriving art scene.
TAG offers a mindful, contemporary approach to participating in the international art market, by committing to sustainability and a vibrant, diverse local community.
Founded in 1993 by a small group of artists, TAG Gallery has grown to a membership of 43 artists working in all media and genres. The artists of TAG are inspired by each other’s work and the vivid Southern California environment.
TAG Gallery is pleased to donate a portion of the group show proceeds to the Santa Monica Malibu Education Foundation. As part of the Jan. 25 reception, a live silent auction will be available for bidding customers. Customers can purchase the $25 bidding ticket in advance by calling the gallery, 310.829.9556, or purchasing the ticket at the door for $40.
TAG Gallery is located at 2525 Michigan Avenue, D3 (Bergamot Station), Santa Monica.
The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 12 pm to 4 pm.
