Barbie’s Housewarming Party

Santa Monica Place will this weekend open the exhibit Barbie’s Housewarming Party, which will run through Jan. 29 on level two near Nordstrom.
Mattel has partnered with students from five different creative disciplines to celebrate Malibu’s most fashionable resident, Barbie, as she renovates her new home.
The exhibit will feature work created by Otis students and will be on view Jan. 18-20 (walk thru) and 22-29 (window display).
Barbie’s Housewarming Party will feature work by students including: Fabulous swimsuits and cover-ups, chic interior accents and furnishings, one-of-a-kind paintings, State-of-the-art fitness center, short films about Barbie’s influence and impact on art and design.
