What’s Hot: Marion Davis Celebration At Annenberg Beach House This Sunday:

Marion Davies died Sept. 22, 1961 at age 64.

It’s party time at the Annenberg Community Beach House this Sunday, in honor of Marion Davies’ birthday, co-sponsored by the City of Santa Monica and the Santa Monica Conservancy.

Many of Marion’s famous friends and family members will be on hand to share their stories and memories of her.

Attendees may encounter Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Marlene Dietrich, and W.R. Hearst, among others.

Docents will be attired in period dress, and guests are encouraged to do the same.

The event is free but reservations are required as space is limited.
