Assistance League Of Santa Monica Installs New Board Members:

The Assistance League of Santa Monica held its installation ceremony on Wednesday.

The Assistance League of Santa Monica held its annual new board installation luncheon at the Bel-Air Bay Club on Wednesday.

The new executive board members are Joyce Landsverk, Gina Peled, Gloria Fowler, Helen Pongoski, Pamela Boyer, Diane Ward, and Angela Grillo.

The committee chairmen are Phyllis Campbell, Sue Ferrell, Anne Rosten, Karen Skinner, Anne Salinger, Dori Ollestad, and Brooke Barish.

The Assistance League of Santa Monica is a non-profit organization made up of member-volunteers that assist the children and families in the Santa Monica bay area through a number of philanthropic programs.

Its programs include backpacks with school supplies, camp scholarships, college scholarships, emergency school clothing, puppet shows on bullying, teddy bears for trauma victims, and vision and dental care.

The programs are funded through donations and sales from its Thrift Shop at 1453 15th Street in Santa Monica (between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard). The shop hours are 11 am to 3 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
