Firefighters Rescue Injured Hiker In Pacific Palisades:

Firefighters on Friday rescued a hiker injured in the Pacific Palisades area.

The rescuers were sent to the area of Temescal Canyon Road and and Sunset Boulevard shortly after 10 a.m., Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The hiker, described only as a female, was taken to a hospital in serious condition, Scott said.
