Firefighters on Tuesday quickly extinguished a brush fire in Santa Monica.
The fire was reported early this afternoon near the 400 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Santa Monica Fire Department.
Traffic was blocked for a time on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway at Lincoln Boulevard while crews worked to douse the flames, the California Highway Patrol reported.
