Southbound PCH At Big Rock Drive To Close One Lane Monday:

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close one lane of southbound Pacific Coast Highway from Big Rock Drive to Las Tunas Beach on Monday, Sept. 15, 9 am to 1 pm.

The k-rails (concrete barriers) along the highway have to be repositioned to prevent them from falling down the slope.

Large waves caused by hurricanes in Mexico have caused severe erosion to slopes along this section of highway.
