Vehicle Plunges 50 Feet Over Side Of Kanan Dume Road In Malibu:

At least one person was injured when a vehicle plunged 50 feet over the side of Kanan Dume Road in Malibu on Saturday, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 1:52 p.m. two miles north of Pacific Coast Highway, authorities said.

One person was airlifted to a hospital, but that individual’s condition was not available, said a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.

One northbound lane of Kanan Dume Road was closed following the crash, according to Malibu Emergency Services.
