VIDEO: Police Release Surveillance Footage Of Westside Home Burglar:

Los Angeles police unveiled surveillance video Tuesday showing a suspect responsible for burglarizing at least three Westside homes after they were offered for sale.

The first burglary occurred on Sept. 7 around 3 p.m. in the 12000 block of Promontory Road in Brentwood, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jane Kim.

The second burglary occurred on Sept. 16 about 11 am in the 9000 block of Liebe Drive in the area dubbed by Realtors as Beverly Hills Post Office, Kim said.

The third burglary occurred about 2:30 p.m. last Tuesday in the 2800 block of Hutton Drive, also in the Beverly Hills Post Office.

All the burglaries occurred shortly or during open houses were held there. Detectives believe the suspect is knowledgeable about real estate. In each crime, he took jewelry and high-end watches.

The suspect was described as an Asian man who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 170 pounds, and has short hair and eye glasses.

Anyone with information was asked to call 310.444.1538 or 310.444.1568.

Homes in the Beverly Hills Post Office area are in Los Angeles, but in the 90210 ZIP code and residents are allowed to use Beverly Hills in their addresses, which supposedly increases the value of the homes.
