The Los Angeles Dodgers will hold Photo Day today, inviting fans to take photos of their favorite Dodgers on the field at Dodger Stadium before the game against the New York Mets.
Fans can enter the field through center field, with photo opportunities from 11:15 a.m.-noon. Fans can take photos of players but are asked not to request photos with players. Autographs also will not be permitted.
As with all Sunday home games except the final one, the Dodgers will conduct their Viva Los Dodgers family-friendly festival. Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Raul Campos and Ballet Folklorico Otomi.
Dodger broadcaster Fernando Valenzuela will take photos with fans from 11:30 a.m.-noon, with fans receiving a complimentary photo printout.
Viva Los Dodgers begins at 11 a.m. at Dodger Stadium’s 76 station.
Kenny Landreaux, an outfielder on the Dodgers’ 1981 World Series championship team, will sign autographs in the left field pavilion plaza from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Ellie Smith, a former Miss Nevada, will perform the national anthem.
As with most Sunday home games, children 14 and under can run around the bases following the game.
Auto gates will open at 10:40 a.m., the right field and left field plaza gates at 10:40 a.m. and the remaining stadium gates at 11:10 a.m. Pregame ceremonies will begin at 1 p.m. for the 1:10 p.m. game.
