The driver of an Uber car was hospitalized in stable condition after the vehicle was fired upon in a gang-related shooting in Venice, police said today.
The vehicle was shot at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Lucille and Louella avenues in Venice, Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Daniel Gonzales said.
The driver was struck in the arm, the L.A. Weekly reported.
Neither of the passengers in the vehicle was injured, Gonzales said.
