Caught With His
Pants Down:

Latest Santa Monica Police Department news.

Santa Monica Police Department officers who were on patrol in the downtown area of Santa Monica, were flagged down by concerned citizens who told them that there was a man in the 1500 block of Palisades Park and that this man needed assistance on September 9.

The officers rushed to the location and discovered a man leaning over a fence with his trousers down to his knees vomiting.

The officers spoke with this man and the man gurgled that he had a knife in his front pants pocket and that he kept the knife for protection.

The officers carefully reached into the man’s pants pocket and retrieved the knife.

The officers then arrested this 28-year-old homeless man and he was charged with illegal possession of a fixed-blade weapon. Bail was set at $500.
