International Independent Film Festival In Santa Monica Is Accepting Submissions:

Cinema at the Edge (CATE) Film Festival in Santa Monica is now accepting submission for 2016.

Submission are now open for 2016’s Cinema at the Edge (CATE) film festival April 7-10 in Santa Monica. The festival celebrates independent films of all genres that feature a distinct vision, a unique voice, or a challenge to what is expected and accepted in the medium.

Featuring narratives, documentaries, and shorts, from talented filmmakers all over the world,CATE gives new and recognized films and filmmakers the chance to ignite audience buzz, gain acclaimed exposure, and provide global distribution opportunities.

The festival is located in the heart of Santa Monica’s Main Street minutes away from the beach – housed at the Edgemar Center for the Arts, a two theatre and art gallery complex designed by Frank Gehry.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Cinema at the Edge (CATE) is open to independent film of all genres that feature a distinct vision, a unique voice or a challenge to what is expected and accepted in the medium. Each year we select and exhibit narrative features, documentary, and short films. Films previously submitted (and not selected) may be reentered if there has been significant change to the edit. You must complete an entry form for each film submitted.
