Annenberg Community Beach House Pool Voted “Best Of The Westside”:

The Annenberg Community Beach House pool.

It’s official! The Annenberg Community Beach House pool was voted “Best Swimming Pool” in The Argonaut’s annual Best of the Westside awards. This is the third consecutive win for the historic Beach House pool since the 2013 launch of Best of the Westside awards.

The Beach House pool is one of the remaining elements from Marion Davies’ oceanfront estate, built in the late 1920s by William Randolph Hearst for Davies, his paramour. Designed by architect Julia Morgan, the marble edged pool features the original hand restored tiles with a whimsical fish motif.

The Beach House pool season is drawing to a close, with the heated pool now open weekends only, from 11am-5pm, through Sunday, October 4.

Throughout fall, winter and spring, be on the lookout for Pop Up Pool Days, an off season opportunity to enjoy a day at the pool. Pop Up Pool Day notices go out three days in advance.

Sign up for email updates on the website. In summer, the pool is open seven days a week for recreational swim.

Other summer highlights include Sunset Swim for adults (ages 18 +), the annual Cardboard Yacht Regatta, and synchronized swim classes taught by the Aqualillies, the world’s most glamorous water ballet entertainers.
