Vince Kane, director of the VA’s National Homeless Center, spoke to the Brentwood Community Council Tuesday, Nov. 3 about the 889-page West Los Angeles VA Master Plan. But BCC members criticized the VA Master Plan’s failure to mention the traffic impact on the surround Brentwood community. BCC member and Brentwood Homeowners Association President Ray Klein suggested that the comment period be extended until after the Environmental Impact Report comes out. Other residents were concerned about saving Brentwood Park and the parking lot at Brentwood Village, both of which are under threat from the VA.
