Kiwanis Club of Santa Monica Installation Celebration

Sunday, September 22nd at 11:30 AM

By Staff Writer

The Kiwanis Club of Santa Monica and the Kiwanis Coastal Division are hosting a Community Celebration and Installation on Sunday, September 22nd at 11:30 AM. It will be held at the Santa Monica Elks Lodge, 1040 Pico Blvd.

Featuring a fantastic Sunday Buffet Brunch, musical entertainment from Tee-M and cast members from Frozen this event will honor two members of our community who became “field warriors” for the new Civic Multi-purpose sports field, Ann Bowman Hoover and Jaleh Mirhashemi. California State Senator Ben Allen will present special commendations to them during the event. What’s more, Santa Monica’s own Phil Brock will be sworn in as the Kiwanis District Lt Governor by California Nevada Hawaii Kiwanis Governor Tim Cunning for Coastal Division 19. Phil recently served as President of Santa Monica Kiwanis, is an SM City Commissioner and, of course, the host of Brock on Your Block.

Kiwanians, their families, and friends will gather as Awards of Merit are presented to Kiwanis volunteers stretching from San Pedro to Malibu and inland to Inglewood and Hawthorne.

Tickets are now available for this stellar event honoring standout volunteers from our local community. You can access event tickets at kiwanisinstallation.brownpapertickets.com and for more information email phil@LACoastalKiwanis.org or call 310 3938004.

Celebrate with us on Sunday, September 22nd at 11:30 AM!
