Mon Ami Brings Mediterranean Flavors to Former 41 Ocean Space in Santa Monica

New restaurant from team behind popular nightclub Canary set to open later this spring

A new restaurant is set to open in Santa Monica, bringing the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean with a touch of European sophistication to the city’s bustling dining scene.

Mon Ami, from the team behind the popular nightclub Canary and restaurants across Europe, promises to transport diners to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. With a prime location on Ocean Avenue in the former 41 Ocean Space, Mon Ami will celebrate diverse culinary traditions from countries such as Spain, Greece, Italy, France and Morocco.

The menu will feature a tantalizing array of dishes made with many locally-sourced ingredients from the Santa Monica Farmers Market. Whether you’re in the mood for flavorful spices or inspired spirits, Mon Ami aims to deliver a warm and comfortable dining experience that’s perfect for a night out with friends or family.

“Along with John Sofio’s design, we are excited to bring a true Mediterranean ambiance and experience to Los Angeles. Our goal for Mon Ami is to have our customers feel like they’ve escaped to a place off the coast of the sea with its aesthetics, music, cocktails and menu,” a representative for the hospitality group told So Cal Pulse.

The grand opening is set for mid-March 2023. Get ready to immerse yourself in vibrant flavors at Mon Ami.
