Long-standing pub boasts over 500 whiskeys, rotating selection of craft beers, and improved facilities under new ownership
The Daily Pint, a long-standing fixture in Santa Monica, has reopened following an extensive renovation. Located at 2310 Pico Blvd, the pub had been closed for renovations since its acquisition by its current owner, George Hemingway in June of last year. Hemingway, a former attorney and pizza restaurant owner who hails from Hungary, is also the former owner of Budapest Honvéd Football Club.
The Daily Pint has been a regular spot for locals and tourists alike for decades and boasts an extensive collection of over 500 whiskeys from all over the world, along with a rotating selection of local craft beers. The pub also features pool tables, dart boards, shuffleboard, and a variety of television screens showing all kinds of sports.
Among the changes and improvements made to the pub are a life-size mural of King Charles III, an all-new and improved gold-colored decor in the remodeled ladies’ bathroom, and more effective disability access. Hemingway hopes that the mural will become an Instagram hotspot.
The pub does not serve food, but the collection of whiskeys and beers is sure to satisfy any thirst. The Daily Pint is now open for business and ready to welcome back old regulars and new visitors alike.
