Sogno Toscano Is Ready To Open Its First West Coast Cafe and Marketplace

The New Establishment Will Be Located On Montana Avenue, Opening July 27

By Dolores Quintana

On Thursday, July 27th, Italian delicacy distributor Sogno Toscano is set to make its West Coast debut as it opens the doors to its boutique high-end cafe and marketplace in Santa Monica on Montana Avenue. Founded in 2007 by childhood best friends Pietro Brembilla and Brian Persico, Sogno Toscano has a fascinating origin story. Hailing from a tiny town in Tuscany, the duo moved to New York City armed with a few bottles of their families’ generations-old finishing olive oil, Fattoria.

This humble beginning marked the inception of Sogno Toscano, which has since evolved into the sole company in the industry to directly import products from Italy, cutting out intermediaries. This approach has allowed them to maintain impeccable standards from the initial stages of production to final delivery, earning them a prestigious client list, including award-winning chefs in New York City and critically acclaimed restaurants in Los Angeles.

At the heart of Sogno Toscano’s brand lies a deep passion for sharing authentic Tuscan traditions with people who may not have had the opportunity to visit the renowned regions of Italy. Equally, the brand seeks to provide a home away from home for those from the region itself.

Located at 1512 Montana Avenue, the new Sogno Toscano establishment promises an authentic Italian experience, providing guests with the highest quality products imported directly from Italy. The 3,000-square-foot space serves as both a cafe and marketplace, featuring counter service, indoor seating, and a beautiful open-air dining patio. Patrons can expect a wide selection of high-quality, specialty authentic retail food products and an extensive collection of Italian wines.

Sogno Toscano’s Santa Monica location allows Angelenos and visitors to savor the same top-tier ingredients found in some of the best and most popular restaurants across Los Angeles, all sourced directly from Italian origin. Whether indulging in the in-restaurant dining experience or bringing home the finest Italian delicacies, guests are guaranteed an unforgettable culinary journey.
