Two Exciting Food Events Will Be Bringing Flavor To Santa Monica This Weekend

626 Night Market Is Back, and Interstellar Is Hosting Ginza Nishikawa Sandos

To commemorate Ginza Nishikawa‘s one-year anniversary, Interstellar is teaming up with the renowned Japanese bakery to offer a limited edition Menchi Katsu Sando. This delectable creation will be available for one day only, on Tuesday, August 1st, exclusively for pickup at Interstellar’s restaurant location in Santa Monica. 

The Menchi Katsu Sando features a signature blend of ground beef, pork, and onions grilled to perfection, forming a succulent hamburger patty. Topped with creamy parmesan aioli and zesty citrus cabbage, all nestled between two slices of toasted Ginza Nishikawa shokupan, this sandwich promises a symphony of flavors and textures.

As a special treat for food enthusiasts and fans of both Interstellar and Ginza Nishikawa, only a limited quantity of 50 sandwiches will be available for pickup on the designated day. Each sando will be priced at $25.00.Interstellar is located at 109 Broadway. You can order your sando here.

 

The highly popular 626 Night Market Mini-Series is making its way to Downtown Santa Monica, offering a delightful series of Asian-fused food mini-night markets on July 29th and 30th, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This two-day culinary extravaganza promises an intimate coastal vibe and a casual setting for attendees to savor their favorite eats.

The 626 Night Market Mini-Series is renowned for celebrating the vibrant and diverse culinary traditions of Asian cuisine, bringing together a curated selection of approximately three dozen food, merch, and craft vendors. From delectable street food to innovative fusion dishes, a wide array of flavors will tempt every palate. To add to the festivities, an alcohol garden will be available for attendees aged 21 and above, offering refreshing beverages.

The market is open to all ages, making it an ideal outing for families and friends looking to immerse themselves in a captivating food scene.
