Santa Monica Chefs Join Star-Studded Lineup at Hotel Bel-Air Culinary Event

Jackson Kalb, Dave Beran, Elijah de Leon to Showcase Late-Summer Flavors

The Restaurant at Hotel Bel-Air will welcome some of Southern California’s most celebrated chefs for a one-night outdoor dining experience highlighting late-summer flavors.

The annual visiting chef series returns Tuesday, September 9, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., with guests enjoying an evening of al fresco dining on the hotel’s iconic Front Lawn. Tickets are $350 per person, which includes wine and spirits pairings.

The event will feature an extensive lineup of renowned chefs collaborating with the hotel’s culinary director, Joe Garcia. Participating chefs include:

  • Jackson Kalb (Ospi, Jemma)
  • Ray Garcia (Asterid, Qué Bárbaro, ¡VIVA!, The Brown Sheep)
  • Alisa Vannah with special guest Nancy Silverton (Chi Spacca)
  • Dave Beran (Pasjoli, Seline)
  • Jeff Chen (San Laurel by José Andrés)
  • Ashley James (The Beverly Hills Hotel)
  • Oscar Torres (Verse LA)
  • Elijah Deleon (Rustic Canyon)
  • Gino Pineda (Dialog Cafe)
  • Nicole’s Kitchen LA
  • Dominick DiBartolomeo (The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills)

  • Black Pearl Caviar by Petrovich Caviar

Guests will enjoy seasonal salads, expertly seared meats, and other summer-inspired dishes, paired with drinks from Louis XIII, Silver Oak Wine, and Champagne Telmont.

In keeping with the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, any surplus food will be donated to Chefs to End Hunger, a nonprofit dedicated to redistributing meals to those in need.
