Santa MoniCARES Invites Public to 4th Annual Volley-Ween Fundraiser

The event, with a $35 registration fee per player, aims to raise funds for local nonprofits providing essential human services during the winter

Santa MoniCARES is gearing up for its 4th Annual Volley-Ween, a beach mixer and volleyball tournament fundraiser, set for Wednesday, October 29 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Perry’s Café and Beach Rentals, 2400 Ocean Front Walk. 

The event, with a $35 registration fee per player, aims to raise funds for local nonprofits providing essential human services during the winter season.

The afternoon will feature a volleyball tournament, beach games, live music, food, and drinks, alongside a costume contest with prizes. Proceeds will support Santa MoniCARES, a coalition of Santa Monica Travel & Tourism and tourism partners dedicated to leveraging the community’s generosity. Interested sponsors can contribute at tiers including Sand Screamers ($5,000), Hocus Pocus Hitters ($3,000), Beachside Boogiemen ($1,500), and Pumpkin Pals ($500), with custom packages available for businesses offering services or raffle items.
