Pacific Park’s Solar-Powered Ferris Wheel Will Light Up as the Dodgers Host the Toronto Blue Jays at Dodger Stadium.

Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier will honor the Los Angeles Dodgers’ World Series run by illuminating its iconic 90-foot Ferris wheel in the team’s signature blue and white, complete with the “LA” insignia, beginning Monday evening.

The special lighting tribute will coincide with the third, fourth, and fifth games of the World Series between the Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays, scheduled for 5 p.m. on October 27, 28, and 29 at Dodger Stadium. Fans can catch the games locally on Fox 11.

Known worldwide for its sweeping ocean views and sustainable design, the Pacific Wheel is the only solar-powered Ferris wheel of its kind. Its 174,000 LED lights, mounted across 40 spokes and two hubs, can generate more than 16 million color combinations and display motion imaging at up to 24 frames per second. The energy-efficient lighting system uses 81 percent less power than traditional incandescent bulbs, creating a dazzling yet environmentally conscious display.

Standing nine stories high, the Ferris wheel lifts riders 130 feet above the Pacific Ocean, offering panoramic views of Santa Monica, Malibu, and the South Bay coastline.

The Dodgers-themed light show will run nightly from sunset (around 6:05 p.m.) to midnight, October 27–29, at Pacific Park, 380 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA 90401.Pacific Park, the only free-admission amusement park in Los Angeles, features 12 rides, 14 midway games, a variety of dining options, and seaside shopping.
