Locals’ Night Returns This Week with Holiday Art Mart, DJs and Food Drive

This month’s nonprofit partner, Feed the Streets LA, will collect shelf-stable food donations and raise money for turkey vouchers to assist families in need

The Santa Monica Pier will kick off the holiday season with its monthly Locals’ Night on Thursday, Nov. 20 featuring a Winter Art Mart, live DJ sets, children’s story time and a Thanksgiving food drive, organizers announced.

The free event runs from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Local artists and makers will sell handcrafted goods and holiday gifts at the Winter Art Mart. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Los Angeles DJs Xica Soul, Jamma-Dee, Tavish DJ and Aiden Ramos will perform on the Pier deck.

Books & Cookies will host family story-time sessions at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

This month’s nonprofit partner, Feed the Streets LA, will collect shelf-stable food donations and raise money for turkey vouchers to assist families in need ahead of Thanksgiving.

“Locals’ Night continues to shine as one of the Pier’s most meaningful traditions—an evening designed by and for the Santa Monica community,” said Jim Harris, executive director and historian of the Santa Monica Pier.

Free tickets are required and can be reserved on Eventbrite.
