(Video) Santa Monica Demands Waymo Halt Overnight Charging Operations

Santa Monica residents living near 14th and Broadway say they’re losing sleep due to noise from two Waymo charging hubs that power more than 50 vehicles overnight. After receiving 40 complaints this year, the City Council has unanimously voted to demand Waymo stop nighttime charging, calling the disturbances a public nuisance. Waymo argues the city misunderstands the site’s permitted use, setting up a possible legal showdown. Report by Juliet Lamar for Mirror Media Group.
