Community Picnic to Mark One-Year Anniversary of Palisades Fire

Admission is free and open to neighbors affected by the fire. Registration is requested via Eventbrite

An event commemorating the one-year anniversary of the Palisades Fire is scheduled for Jan. 10 at Pepperdine University, featuring food, music, healing arts and community reflection.

The “Community Rising Picnic,” organized by Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath’s office in partnership with Pepperdine University and the City of Malibu, runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the campus, 24255 Pacific Coast Highway.

Admission is free and open to neighbors affected by the fire. Registration is requested via Eventbrite for planning purposes.

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in designated campus lots, with ADA accommodations offered upon request.
