Santa Monica College to Host Valentine’s Glass Sale at Virginia Avenue Park
Santa Monica College will hold a Valentine’s Glass Sale on Saturday, Feb. 7, offering handcrafted glass artwork as part of a Valentine’s Day celebration at Virginia Avenue Park.
The fundraiser will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park, located at 2200 Virginia Ave. Proceeds will benefit the Santa Monica College Art Department and support events at Virginia Avenue Park.
The sale will feature handmade glass hearts, jewelry, vases, platters and other works created by SMC glass artists. Organizers say each piece is one of a kind and suitable for seasonal décor or gifts for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, birthdays and other occasions throughout the year.
The glass sale coincides with the Virginia Avenue Park Valentine’s Day Celebration. Events are subject to change or cancellation.
