Construction underway following retaining wall damage from recent storms.

Drivers traveling along Pacific Coast Highway near Porto Marina Way should expect delays as crews work to clear storm-related damage, according to Caltrans District 7.

Northbound lanes of PCH are currently reduced to one lane for approximately a quarter mile just north of Porto Marina Way. The restriction is in place while construction crews remove debris and repair a retaining wall that was damaged during recent rainstorms.

Officials said the lane reduction is temporary, and the affected stretch of highway is expected to fully reopen later this week.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and allow extra travel time through the area.
