Rising four stories above the sand at 1341 Palisades Beach Road, the 2,822-square-foot residence serves as a vivid landmark for commuters descending from the Santa Monica Freeway onto the Pacific Coast Highway. The property is listed by Kevin Mitchell of Sotheby’s International Realty.
The property is currently owned by Gina Nuchow and Howie Nuchow, co-head of the powerhouse agency CAA Sports, who acquired the home in 2015 for $5.4 million. While the couple has listed the property intermittently over the last several years, at one point seeking as much as $49,000 a month in 2020, the current asking price reflects a slight decrease from its most recent $39,500 listing in December.
The home’s bubblegum aesthetic is more than just a design choice; it is the final remnant of a 1990s architectural trio known as the “Sherbet Houses.” Originally joined by a baby-blue neighbor and a foam-green residence, the pink house is now famous primarily for its proximity to the “Batman House”, a monochrome black dwelling directly next door.
