The program will include arrangements for woodwind quintet and piano, as well as a four-hand piano performance.
Chamber Music Palisades will present a chamber music concert this month featuring works by several classical composers at a Brentwood church.
The performance is scheduled for April 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Brentwood Presbyterian Church, where musicians will perform pieces by composers including Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms and George Gershwin, along with works by Ludwig Thuille and Conradin Kreutzer.
The program will include arrangements for woodwind quintet and piano, as well as a four-hand piano performance.
Scheduled performers include pianists Bernadene Blaha and Kevin Fitz-Gerald, flutist Susan Greenberg, oboist Jonathan Davis, clarinetist Burt Hara, bassoonist Judith Farmer and horn player Amy Jo Rhine. Alan Chapman is expected to provide commentary during the concert.
Organizers said the musicians have affiliations with groups including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and Los Angeles Opera.
Tickets are priced at $35 and will be available online and at the door, with free admission offered to students with valid identification.
