Luxury Plates and Family Traditions: Where to Book Your Last-Minute Easter Sunday Feast in West LA.

Specialized Vietnamese-fusion brunch dishes and live entertainment will anchor the Easter Sunday festivities at Crustacean Beverly Hills this April 5.

The celebrated dining destination is set to host its holiday service from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., featuring a menu that blends traditional morning fare with the restaurant’s signature Southeast Asian influence. Highlights include a Nước mắm avocado toast served with chili drip, heirloom tomatoes, and poached eggs, as well as a Dungeness crab Vietnamese frittata prepared with red bell pepper, shallots, and potato.

For dessert, the kitchen has developed a seasonal “Upside Down Bunny Cake,” a carrot cake variation featuring coconut and cream cheese.

In addition to the featured brunch plates, the afternoon will include selections from the “An Sum” and “Little C Pho Bar” menus. Atmosphere for the event will be provided by a live DJ and a selection of “pop-linis”—the restaurant’s unique take on the classic Bellini.

Reservations for the Sunday engagement are currently available through Resy.

Oceanfront dining and high-end steakhouse fare will define the Easter holiday across Los Angeles as Mastro’s Restaurants unveils its specialized Sunday schedules for April 5.

Mastro’s Ocean Club Malibu will lead the day’s festivities with an exclusive Easter brunch service from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overlooking the Pacific, the restaurant will feature a menu of elevated morning classics, including Maine lobster Eggs Benedict, a red king crab omelet, and Wagyu sweet potato hash. Diners seeking sweeter options can select the Belgian waffle topped with matcha cream, while the brand’s signature seafood towers, steaks, and famed butter cake remain available throughout the morning. The full brunch menu can be found here

Evening celebrations will shift to the brand’s flagship inland locations, with Mastro’s Steakhouse Beverly Hills, including its Penthouse and new Garden at the Penthouse, and Mastro’s Ocean Club DTLA serving Easter dinner from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The dinner service features the restaurant’s full portfolio of luxury cuts and coastal offerings, ranging from Japanese A5 Wagyu steaks and racks of lamb to caviar-topped oysters. Both the downtown and Beverly Hills locations will provide their full curated wine lists and craft cocktail programs to complement the holiday menu. Reservations can be made at the restaurant’s website

Reservations are recommended for all three Los Angeles-area locations to accommodate the holiday demand.

Westside families can choose from a range of high-end brunch and retail options this month as Westfield Century City prepares for the Easter holiday.

Eataly Los Angeles is leading the seasonal offerings with a multi-platform celebration that includes specialized dining, retail, and education. The marketplace is currently stocking traditional Italian Easter essentials, such as chocolate-filled eggs and house-made Colomba cakes. For those looking to master Italian techniques, the “La Scuola” cooking school has scheduled hands-on workshops in April, including sessions on Northern Italian pasta traditions and classic sauces.

Restaurant reservations are also open for festive menus at Eataly’s rooftop destination, Terra, as well as nearby favorites Zinqué and True Food Kitchen. Terra’s holiday brunch menu features signature dishes like Tiramisù pancakes with espresso syrup and house-made sourdough with mascarpone butter.

For shoppers assembling holiday baskets, premium confectioners, including See’s CandiesLäderach, and Sugarfina, are offering limited-edition sweets alongside Eataly’s imported Italian treats. Patrons also have the option to pre-order prepared holiday feasts from Eataly, featuring lamb chops and spring-inspired sides, for at-home celebrations.

Coastal Italian flavors will take center stage this Easter at L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, as the luxury hotel’s signature restaurant, Costa Covo Osteria, debuts a specialized à la carte brunch menu.

Chef Jason Prendergast’s seasonal selections aim to transport diners to the Italian Riviera through elevated morning classics. Featured dishes include a Maine lobster omelette prepared with confit fennel and Boursin, as well as an Eggs Benedict topped with prosciutto and a spicy Calabrian chile hollandaise. For those seeking lunch-inspired fare, the menu offers heartier options such as rigatoni alla vodka and Ora King salmon served with a tomato-olive soffritto.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the celebration will feature a Moët & Chandon mimosa cart. Guests can customize their pours with a variety of seasonal fruit bases, including blood orange, lychee, and white peach. Organic smoothies and fresh-pressed juices will also be available to complement the meal.

While the hotel offers a discreet, polished environment for the holiday, reservations are highly recommended for the Easter Sunday service, and you can reserve your spot here

Downtown’s historic Culver Hotel will host a triple-threat of holiday festivities on Sunday, April 5, featuring a grand brunch buffet, a themed afternoon tea, and a specialized dinner service.

The day’s centerpiece is the annual Easter Brunch, held in the Crystal Dining Room with additional seating in the lobby and garden patio. Scheduled for three seatings at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m., the buffet includes made-to-order omelets, carving stations with roast beef and turkey, and various savory entrees like grilled salmon.

A dedicated “sweet station” will offer pastries and fresh fruit, while the garden patio provides complimentary face painting for younger guests. Pricing is set at $95 for adults and $45 for children 12 and under, with an optional $45 bottomless Bellini package.

For those seeking a more traditional experience, the hotel’s signature Afternoon Tea will run from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., accompanied by a live pianist. Guests are encouraged to wear spring attire and hats for the service, which features house-made scones with Chantilly cream, artisan loose-leaf teas, and an array of savory sandwiches, including crab cake with garlic aioli and chicken curry. The tea service is priced at $75 per person.

Evening celebrations begin at 5 p.m. with a comforting dinner special of roast beef, mashed potatoes, and green beans. This holiday-specific plate will be available alongside the hotel’s standard à la carte menu.

Prepaid reservations for all Easter Sunday events are currently available through OpenTable.

Gelson’s has launched its holiday catering program for Easter, offering a range of chef-prepared entrees and side dishes designed to streamline seasonal hosting.

The supermarket chain’s specialized menu features main courses sized for gatherings of two to eight people, including prime rib, brisket, and oven-roasted turkey breast. To complement these proteins, the retailer offers a variety of traditional sides such as macaroni and cheese, lasagna Bolognese, and freshly baked butterflake rolls.

Beyond standard dinner portions, Gelson’s catering department has introduced small-bite options for spring entertaining, including smoked salmon deviled eggs and individual charcuterie cups. To complete the table, the store’s floral department is providing seasonal arrangements alongside a curated selection of wines and sparkling varieties.

Online orders are currently being accepted through April 3. Customers can schedule order pickups at their local Gelson’s location between April 3 and April 5 or at the grocery store’s website.
