Wabi on Rose introduces “Sake Sessions Vol. 1” this Saturday to kick off the spring day-drinking season.
Daylight sake tastings and one of LA’s best cookie bakeries’ anniversary celebration will anchor a weekend of community events in Venice this Saturday as local businesses kick off the spring season.
Wabi on Rose is set to host “Sake Sessions Vol. 1” beginning at 2 p.m. on April 4 from Sake High. The debut daytime event is designed as a communal social gathering, focusing on outdoor sake service and sets by DJ Saskia, DJ Ray, DJ Harry, and DJ Nojah. The event celebrates the transition into the “day drinking season” following the conclusion of winter. You can RSVP here.
Just blocks away, Levain Venice will mark its first anniversary with a series of interactive promotions for customers. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the bakery will offer complimentary aura photography with any purchase. Yes, get a photo of your aura and a special tote bag while snacking on cookies and having a refreshing coffee. Too much fun.
Additionally, the store is launching a limited-edition promotion featuring a mini tote bag available to patrons who purchase a cookie. Come out to try Levain’s new spring cookie collection, with carrot cake, lemon, and favorites oatmeal raisin and coconut caramel.
Both event schedules will overlap, offering residents a walkable itinerary of social, food, and beverage activities along Rose Avenue this Saturday afternoon.
