It lost to Marlborough, 13-1 and Marshall, 13-2 before defeating Oakwood, 9-4. No individual statistics have been provided.Venice began Western League play by defeating Palisades, 4-1 and Fairfax, 6-0 but then lost to LACES, 11-6. The team is 6-5 overall. After Palisades lost to Venice, 4-1 it lost a non-league game to Culver City, 6-3 and returned to league competition with a 6-4 win over Fairfax.Emily Noel is batting .647 and has a team-leading 11 RBI. She’s also the team’s best pitcher. Aarica King is hitting .421.Neither Crossroads nor New Roads reported any games during the past week.
