1.The Skateboard Street contest winners signed autographs after the event. (l-r) Alexis Sablone, of Connecticut, won the bronze medal, and also won the Skateboard Street Best Trick contest, Amy Caron of Huntington Beach took the gold medal, and Vanessa Torres of Orange County won the silver medal. 2.The 2009 Supergirl Jam event series, the only large scale all-girl’s action sports competition, culminated in Venice Beach on Sunday, September 6, Labor Day weekend. Girls, ages 14-29 yrs, competed in the Snowboard Rail Jam, Skateboard Street and Inline Best Trick contests. A 35-foot snowboard rail jam course showcased the skills of competitors- Chanelle Sladics of Newport Beach on the rail.
