Mozart’s Requiem Mass

The fabled last work by Mozart will be performed in its entirety by Santa Monica High School’s choirs and orchestra, with Jeffe Huls conducting. Passages from the Requiem are frequently heard in movies—you will probably recognize them.

Frank Gehry, Interviewed by Barbara Isenberg

Frank Gehry is known throughout the world for his unique architecture but he lives in Santa Monica and has contributed to the city’s look with many of his designs. Gehry will be talking about his career with Isenberg, the author of Conversations With Frank Gehry. The evening will also feature performances by Lynn Harrell, “dean of American cellists,” and Antonio Lysy, professor of cello studies at UCLA.
