American Red Cross of Santa Monica volunteers will be washing and vacuuming cars, trucks and SUVs for donations of $8 for cars and $13 for small trucks and SUVs. The car wash will be held in the Red Cross chapter parking lot at 1450 11th Street (between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard) in Santa Monica on Saturday, March 20 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.Grilled hot dogs, chips and beverages will be available for purchase while vehicle are washed. All proceeds from the car wash will benefit the chapter’s disaster response department and its community preparedness and relief programs.
