Samohi Girls Peninsula Defeat Peninsula

Santa Monica High School girls basketball team defeated Peninsula on Dec. 7, 57-39. The defending CIF champions are 6-0 on the season.

Santa Monica Mitey Mites Wins in Orlando

The Santa Monica Mitey Mites defeated the Stafford (Va.) Tigers 33-12 in the first round of the Under Armour Youth Football Championships in Orlando, Fla. A number of Santa Monica-based teams, including the undefeated team in the Midget division, are also competing for national recognition.
