Return to the Golden Age of Hollywood this Friday night without having to leave Santa Monica.
The musical revue “Hollywood Revisited” showcases a dazzling lineup of costumes worn by the stars in the original movies.
The show will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23 at The Broad Stage, Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center, located on Santa Monica Boulevard at 11th Street.
The show will feature costumes of such stars as Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Bette Davis, Gene Kelly, and Ginger Rogers.
“SMC students and acclaimed professional singers and dancers all wearing these incredible costumes return us to the sensational Golden Age of Hollywood,” said Gregory Schreiner, SMC pianist and director of the show.
“Hollywood Revisited” is a collaboration of the SMC Dance, Music and Theatre Arts departments and is funded by the SMC Global Citizenship Council.
Tickets are $12, sold at the door 90 minutes prior to curtain.
