Meet NORKY The Peneagle In Santa Monica On Friday:

NORKY is a new "bird species."

NORKY the Peneagle, the lovable and huggable children’s book character that talks, will make a special visit to the BOOKS and COOKIES store in Santa Monica at 2 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 23.

NORKY is a new bird species — part penguin-part eagle who can swim and fly — who is the “Official Mailbird” and “Goodwill Ambassador” of the North Pole.

The free holiday event will let children have their photo taken with NORKY.

Author and creator of NORKY Steve Allgeier will also sign copies of his book, “Christmas with NORKY the Adventure Begins…” at the event.

The event is free, but reservations are required for this special holiday event.

Call 310.362.3103.
