Palms Hotel Resident In Santa Monica Arrested For Ignoring Restraining Order: APB: Palm Three.

On Thursday, Jan. 12, at 11:30 a.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department went to the Palms Hotel, located at 2020 14th Street after receiving a report of a woman who was harassing another woman at the hotel.

When the officers arrived at the location they spoke with the victim and her husband, who showed them they had an active restraining order against the suspect woman, that forbade her from being too close to them.

Incidentally, they were all long-term residents of the hotel. The victim and her husband told the officers that the other woman had been situated very close to them, and had also threatened them.

The officers noted that when they had arrived at the hotel they had seen the suspect sitting just a few feet away from the couple’s door, so they concluded that she had indeed violated the restraining order.

The officers arrested this 50-year-old resident of the Palms Hotel in Santa Monica and she was charged with disobeying a court order. Her bail was set at $5,000.
