Mariners Get Share of Camino Real League Title: St. Monica Takes Down Cantwell-Sacred Heart

St. Monica's Briana Harris makes a move against the Cantwell-Sacred Heart defense in Thursday night's win.

A win would give them a share, even if it was shared with another teams.

The St. Monica Mariners beat Cantwell-Sacred Heart 59-48 on Thursday to win a share of the Camino Real League title with La Salle High School and a spot in the CIF playoffs.

Briana Harris led the team with 32 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and five assists. Liyah Lewis followed with 11 points and Melissa Maragnes had six rebounds and both Maragnes and Katrina Balatico had three assists.

Bobbie Morgutia led Sacred Heart with 14 points and Priscilla Rodriguez had 13 points.
