Three Democrats and a Republican who are competing to represent portions of the West Side in the newly created 50th Assembly District will meet in a candidates’ forum this Saturday, April 14, at Santa Monica College.
The event, hosted by UCLA Government and Community Relations, will be at 2 p.m. in the college’s Main Stage, 1900 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica.
Free parking will be available in Parking Structure 3.
The three Democrat candidates are Assemblywoman Betsy Butler, political veteran Torie Osborn, and Santa Monica Mayor Richard Bloom. The Republican candidate is Brad Torgan.
The primary election is June 5.
