SM Farmer’s Market Has New Look:

The Santa Monica Farmers’ Market unveiled its new logo on Wednesday, April 27, “Chef Appreciation Day,” on which area restaurants that support California farmers and shop at the Farmers’ Market on a regular basis were recognized.

Graphic Design students at The Art Institute of California, which is located in Santa Monica, competed in their Corporate Identity class to design the new logo.

According to Market manager Laura Avery, there are currently 49 restaurant chefs in the L.A. area, including three in Orange County and one in Malibu, who shop each week at the Wednesday Santa Monica market. The market has created a guide that lists the names and locations of the 49 restaurants, as well as a map. Both the guide and the map are available at the Market.
