Friends of Sunset Park will hold its Annual General Membership Meeting on Saturday, May 28, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, at 14th Street and Ocean Park Boulevard. All residents of Sunset Park are invited.
Founded in 1989, it is a non-profit all-volunteer City-recognized organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Sunset Park area of Santa Monica.
Topics for discussion this year will include the impact on Sunset Park by the new SMC Bundy/Airport Campus, the update of the city’s General Plan, reducing noise and fumes from Santa Monica Airport, desired improvements on the major boulevards, and the process for setting up Neighborhood Watch programs.
