A 33-year-old homeless woman was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the CVS Pharmacy on Lincoln Boulevard in Santa Monica after punching her husband in the face and throwing a pumpkin at him.
At 3:58 p.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department went to the CVS Pharmacy located at 1441 Lincoln Boulevard after they had received a report of a possible robbery that had just occurred.
Upon arrival the officers detained a husband and wife who, although they had not been involved in a robbery, had in fact been fighting.
The husband had informed the wife at the time that she was a horrible wife and mother, and upon learning this opinion from her husband, she had begun to punch the husband in the face with her fists.
The husband had run out of the store with the wife chasing him, but had double-backed into the store but with the wife still hot on his heels.
Once back inside the store the wife had picked up a pumpkin and thrown it at the husband (scary?).
The husband had suffered some minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
The wife was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence and a parole violation.
No bail was awarded for this homeless wife.
